It’s report card time, and we’re ready to brag... humbly, of course.

We did a little review of the past few months and learned some surprising facts. We thought you might be interested in reading them too!

Between September 2021 and March 2022, Jumping Elephants did a lot of work, including 21 usability testing projects for 13 different Government of Canada departments. That meant connecting with over 1100 potential participants (mostly from the UXM, our proprietary panel of thousands of real users), and getting a 47% completion rate. We then scheduled and conducted more than 230 research interviews.

While the specific goals of each usability testing project were obviously different, each of these 230 sessions had an important impact on improving the user experience (UX) of government services. We’re very proud to be making a positive difference in people’s lives. We've also saved our clients tens of thousands of dollars by helping them prioritize what work needs to be done and by reducing waste.

So why then did we not give ourselves an “A+”? Because we think that there is always room for improvement. We would like to work with more departments and more testers. We are also cooking up ways to make the process faster and more efficient! Please stay tuned!
